Gonorrhoea is a second most commonly Sexually transmitted disease caused by Infections of Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
It can infect both men and women.

Sign and symptoms of gonorrhoea :

A yellow or white or green urethra discharge,

Redness around the head of the penis
difficulty swallowing, or swelling in the neck lymph node,

Treatment of gonorrhoea :
Treatment for gonorrhoea can be done using oral and injectable antibiotics prescribed by your doctor.
It becoming very harder to treat some one have drugs resistance so, if patient have not relief to medicine then, check again for drug resistance and give another medicine.
It is also Very much important for your sexual partners to be tested and treated even if they have no symptoms.
This is because if the partner is also infected but you are not treated, you may be infected again.
High rate of complications (PID, infertility In female and gonoccocal arthritis,epididymis,infertility in men) due to usually avoids the Complete treatment, high rate of recurrence, poor follow-up, avoidance of partner treatment.
Babies may also need medication for conjunctivitis or any other eye disease that may be caused by the mother’s gonorrhoeal infection.
Gonorrhoea is commonly treated with dual therapy of antibiotics – azithromycin or doxycycline and cefriacxone -azitromycine combination.
and cefalosporine can be used to treat gonorrhoea.
Injectable gentamycine and cefriaxone also used.
